My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. My husband spent a lot of his life on the river. His family has a house on the river in Stockport. We were married yesterday. It was so romantic, the perfect fall wedding. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony. Brian’s parents sent us here as our wedding gift. It was perfect. Very romantic. Awesome view! We loved the room. We had the perfect time being reminded of how strong our love is. We spent most of the night in the spa talking and sipping champagne. He is truly my best friend and soul mate. We are blessed. I wish all that stay here the same joy. Can’t wait to come back! Between the massage, the spa, and the gentle sound of running water outside, I slept SO good. We came for a Pastors Wives retreat with the Wesleyan Church and had an awesome time. P.S. Mike Strong Bow Hunter Suite 203 _______________________________________________________________________________________ WOW! Totally awesome! My boyfriend and I like Sunday drives. We stumbled upon this place earlier in the summer and decided to take a gander. We said we would like to come down and stay sometime…he surprised me for my birthday. We could not be more pleased. The room is awesome, the river is picturesque. I went to every floor taking pictures. I will remember this place when it comes time for my daughter to get married. How beautiful! Cannot wait until we go down for dinner. Superb! The staff was awesome! Keep up the great work! We will be back. P.S. The continental breakfast too was awesome. Thank You

The ever present sound of rushing water reminds me how vital water is in our lives and how grateful I am for the privilege of having sufficient water and food-some people don’t. I hope that Dottie Singer (a courageous woman) will be very successful with her Inn her at the Mill. Her staff are great (friendly and service minded). The food is wonderful, and the whole experience peaceful and joyful.

This is the only place we have ever stayed that we would like to come back to and just spend a vacation not performing. Great scenery, hospitality, and food. Don’t change anything.

We both loved our room and the front desk help is very nice. We drove around & enjoyed the beautiful countryside, and took photographs of the covered bridges in the area. We were in “town” for my mother’s funeral. Your Inn was a great place for us to unwind before returning home. Thanks too, for your helpfulness in finding a tie for me to wear to the service. In Christ Pastor Allen & Donna Minton Room 101 _______________________________________________________________________________________ We came to celebrate our 17th Wedding Anniversary (April 8th , 1989), and it was the most amazing visit. We only wish we had spent the last 16 anniversary’s here. The view from the Captains Suite was breathtaking. The sound of the water reminded us of Lake Erie. We will most definitely be back for another visit. Next time we plan to bring the kids and stay a few days. All of your staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

It was a total surprise! I didn’t have any idea where we were going until we got here! He had given me hints all week, but the outcome was better than I had imagined. The view and sound of the water was so romantic, especially at night. The massage was excellent! The meal was delicious! We really had a relaxing trip thanks to the Jacuzzi and King size bed! This was a wonderful time for the two of us to spend time with each other and forget about everything else.

I had a difficult time making a decision on where I wanted to go. I had been internet searching for weeks. I had asked several ladies through my job for suggestions and after the fourth lady suggested Stockport Mill, I knew that is where we had to go. I truly have had an amazing weekend. We had our very first massage & what a way to start the weekend, we are now hooked. The room was wonderful, loved the bed! Hearing the water run was relaxing & something you just want to take home with you. Our chocolates were delicious. Of course we had to buy some additional ones to take home, along with homemade goodies from the lobby. Our supper & dessert were great also. My husband was so full, he had to walk across the bridge. I am positive we will be returning. Hurrah for me, no more hours of internet searching. Thanks

We happen to come across the Mill & loved it. Everyone was so helpful & the room was great. We think that this will have to be a regular stop for us. One of the most unique & wonderful places in America.

Imagine our surprise to be assigned the Shawnee Suite-we live in Shawnee Hills on Shawnee Trail! The Mill and our room are beautiful. The sound of the rushing water, the romance of the room have provided the perfect weekend getaway! We hope to return soon.
